Owen leads the art: concept, character, environment, and the visual language that makes a world feel like one place. He draws first and always — the worlds begin on his desk in Savannah before they’re anything a machine can render.

If it has a look, he authored it. The tools exist to keep up with him, not the other way around.

Richard Hammer

Richard builds the machinery: the studio’s graphics engines and its locally-run AI toolchain. A career spent close to the hard parts of software — performance, systems, the unglamorous plumbing that makes everything else possible — now pointed at a single question: how do you give an artist more reach without taking the pen out of their hand?

Every tool the studio runs, he wrote. Every one of them runs on our own machines, on purpose.
